Writing is The Way

In which I encapsulate my thoughts, feelings and creativity. It is the way in which I share my history. It has always been natural to me, but anxiety inducing when sharing with others. It’s that surge of energy running through your body that makes you feel alive, yet petrified of any response or feedback.

The underlying fear of self-expression can be crippling.

The adage of fearing what you love the most rings true, as it is where you are the most raw and vulnerable. Those things that drive you in that way are generally the best things for you. But the drive and consistency to persist amidst adversity is the challenge.

I don’t tell stories, I share concepts; alternative ways of thinking. I write truth. However after my own growth experiences I realize not only the power of words, but my almost instinctive ability to say, channel a written dialogue to people that holds an impact.

So as I work through my own ego integration, I sit on pieces. Not being as fearful of sharing them anymore, but because I want to ensure that I am speaking the truth that is conscientious of other’s perceptions as well. I want to hold the integrity of being able to write with the respect to all parties and not share egoic thoughts that could appear to be skewed negatively in any way to particular readers.

It is my blog, so my opinion, but if my writing doesn’t not hold a resonance with the intention of helping others then why am I sharing? I constantly have my preconditioned notions on things shattered and it is helping me reach a deeper sense of self and knowing that we are all connected. So though I could spew a dialogue that spins a tale of lower vibrations to deliver salacious content, I would only be perpetuating further negativity in the world and I would rather work to help others see through the illusions that have held us back for so long as we continue to degrade and oppress ourselves and others.

Through writing, I have faced many fears, aligned to my purpose and have been repeatedly humbled. Whatever your outlet is, allow it to continue to teach you and allow it to positively influence others.
